Why am I getting a ratio of 1:500 on a DP02-1K (or 1:5000 on DP02-10K) instead of 1:1000 (or 1:10000 on DP02-10K) as in the datasheet specification?<\/b><\/p>

The output impedance of DP02-1K (and DP02-10K) is 50\u03a9. To obtain the specified ratio in the datasheets, you must use a 50\u03a9\u00a0<\/span>feedthrough terminator (we recommend using our model FTT1B) or set the scope input to 50\u03a9.<\/p>

Can I use a high impedance termination to improve resolution for low level measurements?<\/b><\/p>

Yes, you may use the regular 1M\u03a9\u00a0scope input or a higher-impedance multimeter or DAQ for lower frequency measurements only. Short output cables are recommended.<\/p>

Should I twist the input leads to partially reduce the input inductance and get more accurate HF measurements with less ringing?<\/b><\/p>

It depends on the source impedance, slew rate, and resonance of the entire test setup. In some cases, it might be beneficial; in other cases, it might not. On most measurements, you will not notice an improvement with the input leads twisted. Our probes have a low input capacitance, and the input resonance is typically above 100MHz.<\/p>

What is your standard warranty?<\/b><\/p>

Our standard warranty for all high voltage differential probe models is 3 years from the delivery date. An extended warranty is available.<\/p>

I need to integrate your probes into our systems. What are the mounting options?<\/b><\/p>

There are three available options for mounting our probes inside systems. The first option is to use the available holes on the bottom of the probes: 5 x 6-32 screws for DP02 series (and 6 x 10-32 screws for DP20 and DP30 series probes). The second option is to use the DP02-FA mounting flange with 4 x 10-32 or 4 x 5mm screws placed along the probe width.
